麻豆高清 and Bute Council has approved 拢20,000 funding to F猫isean nan G脿idheal, an organisation that supports the development of traditional music, Gaelic singing and Gaelic drama.
The support from the council enables F猫isean nan G脿idheal to lever in additional funding; every 拢1 of support received from the council, enables 拢5.40 spend on delivering Gaelic services in the area.
The council funding comes from 麻豆高清 Development (拢15, 500) and Education Services鈥 Gaelic specific budget (拢4500) and is for the year 2019/20.
Activity across our area includes supporting a number of F猫isean, 麻豆高清 Ceilidh Trail and 麻豆高清 Drama Festival.
Councillor Robin Currie, Policy Lead for Communities, Housing, Islands and Gaelic, said: 鈥淔猫isean nan G脿idheal does a great job of amplifying its council funding.
